I have to admit it, Sky Zone is a pretty cool place to have fun. They just announced that they are closing in a couple weeks from May 10 to June 15, 2017 for renovations. It will be interesting to see the changes to come.

In the meantime, if you are looking for some jumping fun while Sky Zone is closed, Airborne Trampoline KW is the only other trampoline exclusive facility in the KW region. And, in case you don’t already know, we have the big and super bouncy Olympic trampolines. (The trampolines at Sky Zone have beds similar to back yard trampolines so you don’t get as much of that big bounce and height.)

Also, did you know that during our open jump times we have glow-in-the-dark, cosmic jumping? Don’t worry we still have spot lights on the trampolines so you can totally see what you are doing. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should give us a shot. It is only $12 + HST per hour. With our facility you do have to book by going to go to our website or calling / emailing. The other cool thing is that we have a certified trampoline specific coach on deck who can show you a few moves, and give you some pointers when you are jumping. Sky Zone has court monitors which are great, but they are not certified trampoline coaches – if any are it’s just a coincidence as they don’t teach trampoline skills at Sky Zone. 😉

Does your child want a trampoline party? In our facility you get private use of the whole trampoline area, and a large party room that is exclusively yours for 2 hours. The birthday child also gets to fly high in our trampoline bungee (optional) and we have glow-in-the-dark / cosmic options. During the party the children will get to learn and safely practice a few trampoline moves, play some trampoline games, and the coach will also do a high flying show at the end of the party. For only $89 extra you can also get a catered party which includes a custom cake that serves about 35, 2 slices of pizza per child, child’s choice of drink (assorted pops, sugar free juice, or water), and all the accessories. It is a great bargain. You don’t have to worry about a thing, other than showing up!

Also, are you thinking about summer camp? At our facility kids do not just spend hours jumping up and down, but they get lessons where they can pass levels and earn ribbons. Each child gets to go in our trampoline bungee, and we also have a daily show (i.e. magic show), trip (i.e. Laser Quest) or experiment (i.e. making goop). Kids leave our camp pooped!

These are some options you may want to consider if you are looking for a place to go while Sky Zone is closed. We also have recreational classes (where you can learn proper technique and trampoline moves to safely apply to backyard trampolines), freestyle classes (for skiers and boarders to practice their moves off the slopes), special need’s classes (where we only ever have one child per Olympic trampoline), and our very successful competitive training (this year out of our 22 provincial athletes, we had 9 make it to Eastern’s Provincial Championships!). We also host groups (schools, churches, corporate functions).

At Airborne Trampoline KW, we put the utmost emphasis on safety and proper technique. All our coaches are certified by Gymnastics Ontario and the NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program). Our recreational level system teaches all the skills and progressions in a proper and safe order; all of our trampolines have mats and are at ground level with no drop on the sides, and, of course, there are rules (similar to some that Sky Zone has) to ensure safety for all jumpers!

Happy Jumping!
