Airborne's Trampoline Classes are geared towards ALL skill levels. The class jumpers jump their way through Airborne's Trampoline Skill Level system originally created by the Canadian Olympic Trampoline Coach, Dave Ross. These levels begin with the basics of trampolining including seat drops, tuck jumps, stomach drops, back drops, and eventually progressing up to basic front, and back flips. To pass each level, Airborne jumpers must complete a challenging routine of skills and tricks learned during their current level.
All Trampoline Classes are under the instruction of Airborne's Gymnastics Ontario Certified trampoline coaches who work one on one with Airborne's jumpers to ensure that every class participant progressed at their own pace.
Once our jumpers complete a level, they receive an Airborne Trampoline Class Ribbon to take home. After completing all 8 Levels in Airborne's Bronze Medal system, our jumpers will receive an official Airborne Bronze medal engraved with their name and the date of their achievement. Then, its on to the Silver, and Gold medal levels.
Students in recreational trampoline classes are often coached by Airborne's competitive team coaches, and former athletes. At the end of every class session, class jumpers may be asked to join Airborne's Competitive Team and compete in Interclub, Provincial, and National competitions.
To make Airborne as safe as possible, special rules have been developed to prevent possible injury.
|1.||Obey the coaches at all times.|
|2.||Only one person at a time on a trampoline. (We take turns)|
|3.||No flips without the coaches permission. (Flips include anything going over your head)|
|4.||Do not jump off of a trampoline onto any other surface or onto another trampoline. (You must stop jumping and step off)|
|5.||Control before height. (Crash prevention)|
|6.||No foreign objects allowed on the trampolines. (No balls, toys, water bottles, shoes, books, etc.)|
